Waterford "Heritage Days" version 2011 scheduled for July 15, 16, 17

The Waterford community will again celebrate Heritage Days, July 15th through the 17th.

A great lineup of entertainment, with a variety of contests, parades, exhibits, crafts and food, with something for just about everyone.

Summer is a great time for meeting and sharing some time with old friends. What better place to do it than Heritage Days in Waterford. Make a day or evening of it and create some new memories.

Waterford "Heritage Days" version 2011 scheduled for July 15, 16, 17


Anybody look at the July calendar yet? Sure is crowded with an abundance of great family things to do.

Just a short list includes, EUP’s Outside Movie series continuing, a Charity Poker Run to benefit the Boro Womens Services, Greekfest in Millcreek, Cherry Fest in North East, Waterford Heritage Days, and the Edinboro Highland Games.

To qualify, you need to have an acceptable grade point average, have applied to the college, university, or career school that you plan to attend, and have a financial need. Applicant must also be willing to attend the awards luncheon on May 22, 2011 at the VFW Post 740, where the checks will be awarded. Winners will not be asked to read their entry at the awards banquet.

Winners will be notified by mail and contacted by phone. Please ensure that the entire application is completed and accurate. Applications must be mailed to VFW Post 740 and be postmarked no later than April 15, 2011.

WCTL Radio is known to some as the place for listening to a really quality broadcast of area high school football. To others who are more directly involved with it, the station is a ministry.

Twice each year WCTL, gives those who support it, a means to become part of that ministry buy giving both in prayer and financial aid. This falls “Sharathon” will take place this week starting Oct 5th and continuing through Oct 8th.
