WCTL also has an award winning sports broadcasting department. They have already broadcast the Save An Eye football game and are getting ready to offer local high school football every Friday through the season. They will then continue their broadcasts until the playoffs are finished.

The season will begin with a broadcast on Sept 2nd of the Strong Vincent vs General McLane game. The game broadcast will begin at 7pm with a pre-game at 6:30pm

Just looking over the stories from the last year, in some cases it seems hard to believe it was just last year that these things happened. It also seems that history continues to repeat itself, a business will close and shortly thereafter another will spring up to take its place, the community loses a leader and strong supporter and seemingly from nowhere a new leader appears. Another Labor Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, are all history, we remember them, catalog the memories and accomplishments but always look forward to the future!

So Christmas has arrived again in NW Pennsylvania, and many have done as their traditions direct. Some traditions are old, some just started by caring parents and friends as “something we have always done”, but in each case it brings meaning to this season of remembering, caring, worship, and celebration.
