Rankin</strong>, 83, of Edinboro, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West. She was born September 27, 1929. Daughter of the late Thomas E. and Anna Ernstead Fahey.</p>
<p>Patricia was a past member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, also St. Christopher&#8217;s Catholic Church in Prospect, PA. When she was a member at St. Christopher&#8217;s, Patricia was a member of the church choir. She had participated in the Cambridge Springs Community Theater. She loved music and helped to instill that love in all her children. She had also been active with the Edinboro Senior Citizen&#8217;s Center.</p>
<p>Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. Rankin; also two brothers and two sisters.</p>
<p>Survivors include her six sons, Timothy Rankin and his wife Kathleen of Edinboro; John Rankin and his wife Anita of OH; Ronald Rankin and his wife Dana of Connellsville, PA; Daniel Rankin and his wife Mary Lou of IL; Glenn Rankin and his wife Kim of Erie and Stephen Rankin and his wife Michelle of GA; her daughter Joan Kalish and her husband Mark of MI; one brother Jack Fahey and his wife Carol of AZ; also 17 grandchildren.</p>
<p>Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Lake Church on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m..</p>

<p><strong>Robert John Adams</strong>, 73, of Cambridge Springs, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Cambridge Springs Rehabilitation Center where he resided for the past month. He was born in Buffalo, NY on November 27, 1939, the son of the late Harry and Frances (Dabelle) Adams.</p>
<p>After graduating from Bishop Timon High School in Buffalo, Bob proudly served four years in the US Coast Guard. He earned his bachelor&#8217;s degree from Canisius College and his Ph.D. in finance and economics from Penn State University. He ran a successful business, Playtime, in Buffalo and worked at Bethlehem Steel before embarking on a career in teaching. A gifted educator, Bob taught at Canisius College and in the New York State Prison System. Bob retired as a full professor from Edinboro University where he taught in the School of Business for 23 years. He also served as an expert witness, presenting financial testimony before grand juries in New York State.</p>
<p>Bob volunteered as an ice hockey coach in Amherst, NY for 20 years, influencing and mentoring hundreds of children. Bob was an avid golfer, serving as past president of the Thursday night league at the Riverside Golf Course. He was a model train enthusiast, Civil War buff, and Broadway musicals aficionado. He enjoyed the outdoors and mowing his four-acre lawn. Bob&#8217;s amiable manner, keen intelligence, and sharp wit made him a treasured companion, relative, and friend.</p>
<p>Survivors include his wife, Joyce Gnagi Adams; three daughters, Michelle (Sean) Cunningham of FL, Ann Marie (Tim) Barry of NY, Bridget (Jeff) Sobers of SC; five sons, Michael (Cher) Adams of NC, James (Jennifer) Adams, of NJ, Dr. Christopher (Meredith) Adams of FL, Michael (Robin) Billings of Cambridge Springs, and David (Carol) Billings of NJ; two sisters, Cindy (Jim) Lockwood of TN and Mary Wolski of NY; a brother, Andrew (Debbie) Adams of NY; 22 grandchildren, Eric, Kyle and Ryan Cunningham, Ashley, Michael, Maddy, Sarah, Katherine, Daniel, Caroline, Joseph, Jacob, and Joshua Adams, Abigail Barry, Cassie, Doug, Dylan Sobers, Kevin Morris, Samantha, Jamie, Timothy and Steven Billings; and a great-granddaughter, Summer Morris; also, many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Adams.</p>
<p>Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A parish prayer service will be held there on Sunday at 3:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 165 Beach Avenue, Cambridge Springs, at 10:00 a.m. Monday with Fr. David L. Poulson officiating.</p>
<p>Burial will be in Cambridge Springs Upper Cemetery, with full military honors.</p>

<p>Jeffery was an independent, over the road, truck driver. He loved his family very much, always thinking of others before himself. Jeff was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns football team, and he loved to work in his wood shop.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his grandson, Darien Waterhouse.</p>
<p>Other than his mother, survivors include; two sons, Christopher (Krista) Collier, and Aaron (Amy) Waterhouse, both from Meadville; 2 daughters Michelle Bish, of Saegertown and Katie Adams, of Erie; two brothers John (Beth) Collier, of Altoona, and Jerry Collier, of Venango; a sister, Sheila (Ken) Watkins, of Venango; four nieces, Leah, Ashley, Jessica and Casey Collier; also 15 loving grand-babies.</p>
<p>The Glunt Funeral Home, Edinboro is in charge of funeral arrangements.</p>

Loomis</strong>,  95, of Independence, OR, formerly of Edinboro, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at his son’s home, surrounded with love.  He was born in Cleveland, OH, on July 6, 1917.  Son of the late Joy LeLand and Gertrude Guckes Loomis.</p>
<p>  Ray worked as a machinist at Keystone Brass Company in Erie for 36 years.  After retiring in 1972 he was the caretaker of the Edinboro Conference Grounds of the Christian Missionary Alliance, for 38 years. </p>
<p>  He was a past member of the Erie Aviation Club and was a member, treasurer, deacon, trustee, and elder at the Christian Missionary Alliance Churches of Erie and Edinboro. </p>
<p>  Ray is preceded in death by his wife Harriet A. “Suzy” Swalley Loomis and his sisters Wilma Thompson, Mildred Baldwin Bozell, his brother Richard Loomis and son-in-law Allen Bisbee. </p>
<p>  Survivors include his sons, Larry Loomis and his wife Mary Lou of Independence, OR; and Timothy Loomis and his wife Mary of Byesville, OH; two daughters, Nada Bisbee of Akron, OH; Faye Gray and her husband Ronald of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Thomas Loomis and his wife Catherine of Erie; Robert Loomis and his wife Ida Mae of Erie; three sisters, Iona Zimmer of Erie; June Zimmer of Erie and Nina Rose and her husband Dale of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, LouAnne Wagner, Larry Loomis, Jr., Caryl Waller, Daniel Bisbee, Darlene Risjan, Patrick Gray and Michael Loomis; also ten great grandchildren.</p>
<p>    Friends may call Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, also from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday with Rev. Rick Crocker officiating.  </p>

He was born Erie on October 8, 1924, the son of the late Edwin S. and Juani (Totman) Kemm.</p>
<p>After high school William joined the US Navy and served during WWII. He was an adult leader for the Boy Scout Troup 73 in McKean and was a member of the Edinboro/McKean VFW Post #740.</p>
<p>Bill was an insurance agent for the Western &#038; Southern Life Insurance Company for more than 30 years retiring in Nov. of 1986. He enjoyed bird watching, hunting and just being in the outdoors. Bill was a real people person who loved a good joke and just being around his friends and family. He also loved spending time with his two wonderful cats.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce (Suttles) Kemm in 2001; a daughter, Sandra Ott; a brother, Edwin Kemm; four sisters, Gladys Clark, Virginia Totman, Georga “Dot” Bush and Violet Harcourt; also, a granddaughter, Holly Muffie; a grandson, Jason Lewis; and a great-granddaughter, Angel Long.</p>
<p>Survivors include his three daughters, Gloria Gray and her husband, Leonard, of Tennessee, Sally Giles and her husband, Jim, of Waterford, and Tammy Sapp and her husband, Michael, of China; a son, William N. Kemm, III, and his wife, Mary, of Erie; also, 8 grandchildren, Candy Pendergrass, Laura Long, Brian &#038; Lenny Gray all of TN, Neil Lewis of NY, Shonna Brown and Amanda Majczyk of Erie, and David Sapp of China; and 14 great-grandchildren, Talyn and Kylie Gray, A.J., Zachery and JeAnna Long, Kayden and Brayden Gray, Cammie Pendergrass of TN, Elexis Brown of Erie, Tristyn Lewis of NY, Lydia, Quentin, Miles and Melissa Majczyk of Erie.</p>

Carey</strong>, 89, of Verona, PA, formerly of McKean, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at her daughters home. She was born in Bradford, PA on January 6, 1924. Daughter of the late Samuel and Nellie Higgins Green.</p>
<p>Helene was a former member of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church and the Rosary Society of St. Francis Xavier. She was educated and lived in Pittsburgh, until 1955 when she moved to McKean. She worked in the nursing profession until retiring.</p>
<p>Survivors include her daughter, June McDill and her husband Sager of Pittsburgh; and her grandchildren, Erica Sharkey and her husband Shawn, of Roslyn, PA and Sager A. McDill, of Pittsburgh, also four great grandchildren, Sager A. Jr; and Christopher I. Sharkey; and Maria E. and Melanie A. McDill.</p>
<p>Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday, May 10, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens. He was born on May 8, 1929, in Franklin Center; son of the late Burton Allen and Ruth Marie Albright Lawrence.</p>
<p>Born into farming life and a musical family. He loved to sing for God&#8217;s Service. Although recently it was take from him, God returned his voice in time to rejoice in his last days. He turned his farm into Mar-Da-Jo-Dy Campground for God&#8217;s Mission Field, while working at Marx Toys. Many enjoyed it and he in turn enjoyed the people. He was also involved in NCHA and after retiring RVICS while enjoying the sunny south. In the summer up north he helped manage another campground and enjoyed spending time with his family. While at Franklin Center United Methodist church he was a lay leader for 18 years. He also attended Weis Library United Methodist Church.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents, and a granddaughter Elizabeth Noel Boyd.</p>
<p>Survivors include his beloved wife, Johann Forbes Lawrence, whom he married on August 16, 1952, and they had 60 years together. He is also survived by a son, Mark Lawrence and his wife Barbara of Edinboro; two daughters, Margo Carraway and her husband Richard of Lake City; and Melody Boyd and her husband Terry of Erie; one sister Joy Westbrook and her husband Allan of Edinboro; also four grandchildren, Christina Boyd, Nicholas, Andrea and Jacob Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Thursday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service will be held at Franklin Center United Methodist Church on Friday at 2:00 p.m..</p>
<p>Burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens. In lieu memorials may be made to Franklin Center United Methodist Church, Music Department, 7471 Old State Rd, Edinboro, PA 16412 or to a charity of ones choice. She was born on June 4, 1929, daughter of the late Clair and Oleta Loucks English.</p>
<p>Mary was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Edinboro Vol. Fire Department, a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star (OES), and a member of the Edinboro United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling in the Edinboro Women&#8217;s bowling league, playing cards, camping, crossword puzzles and attending the Albion Fair. Mary loved her Dachshunds.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Lasher, Sr., her brother Robert English and her sister Martha Barnes.</p>
<p>Survivors include, her sons, Edward Lasher, Jr. and his wife, Toni, of Erie; John Lasher and his wife, Pamela, of Albion; and William Lasher and his wife, Deana, of Cambridge Springs; two daughters, Janine Daly and her husband, Michael, of Albion and Cheryl Rocca and her husband, Thomas, of GA; her brother, Wallace (Sonny) English of East Springfield; nine grandchildren, Philip Lasher and his wife, Kelly; Krista Taylor and her husband, Will; Sean Lasher and his fiancé, Laurel-Lin; Sara Lasher; Suzanne Rocca; Angela Rocca; Bethann Tucker and her husband, Jonathan; Alanna Markley and her husband, Dr. Christopher; and Cliff Lasher and his wife, Jessie; also six great-grandchildren, Amber, Carly, Kamryn, Molly, Nora and Abby.</p>
<p>Friends may call at the <a href="http://www.gluntfuneralhome.com" target="_blank">Glunt Funeral Home</a>, 210 Erie St., Edinboro, on Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 2 &#8211; 4 p.m. and 7 &#8211; 9 p.m.. The funeral service will be held there on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M..</p>

She was born on March 15, 1930. Daughter of the late Hartridge Coleman and Docie Caldwell Davis.</p>
<p>Barbra was an avid golfer. She was a member of the Tuesday Morning Ladies Golf League at Oakland Beach Golf Club, she managed the Pro Shop at Oakland Beach Golf Club for 25 years and was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church.</p>
<p>In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Joe Davis.</p>
<p>Survivors include, husband, James Harold Young of Conneaut Lake; son James Colton Young of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter Sarah Baker and her husband Steve of Conneaut Lake; sister Lillian Vedder of NC; and four beloved grandchildren, Shane Young, R.J. Baker, Cole Baker and Kyle Young. Barbra never missed a write up of her grandsons athletics and proudly displayed them on multiple bulletin boards.</p>
<p>No calling hours will be observed. <a href="http://www.gluntfuneralhome.com" target="_blank">Glunt Funeral Home</a> has been entrusted with the care of arrangements.</p>
