Edinboro Maple Festival Needs Volunteer Server at the 4th Annual Edinboro Maple Fesitval on St. Patrick’s Day
Individuals or groups of senior high students or adults can help the Edinboro Area Historical Society by volunteering to help serve pancake meals at the 4th Annual Maple Festival. The festival’s volunteer coordinator, Kathy Montgomery, reports that she still needs some volunteers to help serve pancake meals at the festival which is held at the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department’s social hall on Sunday, March 17th.

Individuals, clubs, teams or students can help serve great pancakes and sausage and local maple syrup at the Edinboro Maple Festival and earn Community Service Credit Hours at the same time.
The local historical society plans to serve over 1000 pancake meals during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend. The Maple Festival, held at the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department’s social hall at 125 Meadville Street, needs to recruit servers who can work 3-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 12 noon and from noon to 3:00 PM on both Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of March.
The Maple Festival, held in conjunction with the NW PA Maple Producers Association’s Taste and Tour, provides a fun, family-friendly celebration of spring. Besides serving a meal of pancakes, sausage and fresh locally produced maple syrup, the festival features a wide range of arts, crafts, and food vendors and live music all day long.
Volunteers who work for a 3-hour shift are eligible for a free pancake meal. The society encourages clubs, teams and other organizations to volunteer. Individuals or families can register to serve pancakes as well.
If you can help the historical society by serving pancakes for a 3 hour shift, especially on Sunday the 17th, and want to eat a free plate of pancakes, sausage and locally produced maple syrup, then you need to volunteer right now.
