Doyle Edward Stuck

Doyle Edward Stuck, 96 of Valrico, Florida, formally of McKean, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2012. He was born June 5, 1916 in Cranberry, PA to parents Avon and Sylvia Perry Stuck.

He was employed at Erie Forge and Steel for 27 years in the maintenance department, retiring in 1979. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and hunting, especially coon hunting with his brother, Truman. He previously attended McKean United Methodist Church and most recently First United Methodist Church of Brandon, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Rick McLaughlin; two brothers, Ronald Stuck and Truman Stuck.; five sisters, Anna Clevenger, Evelyn Stockhouse, Betty Homan, Lu Vera Smith, and Phyllis Lutshaw.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Eleanor Rose Stuck.; one son, Ronald Stuck; four daughters, Shirley Stuck McLaughlin, Judy (Floyd) Lawrence, Joyce (Bob) Adams, Linda Gebhardt Boldizar; grandchildren, Dennis (Donalee) Stuck, Denise Stuck Lewis, David (Nicole) Stuck, Mary Alice (Perry) Colosimo, Joan McLaughlin, Chris McLaughlin, Ellen McLaughlin, Michael McLaughlin, Mrs. Rick (Desi) McLaughlin, Chris Brozell, Pam (Michael) Zaycosky, David (Carol) Billings, Michael (Robin) Billings, Jeffrey Gebhardt, Gregory (Carrie) Gebhardt, Shannon Gebhardt; many nieces and nephews; 29 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; and a special friend, Rod Coburn..

Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 26th at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Barb English officiating at McKean Methodist Church.

Burial will be at Erie County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to McKean United Methodist Church, 5041 North Main Street, McKean, PA 16426 or First United Methodist Church of Brandon, 121 N.
