GM Seeking Applications For Vacant Board Position
The General McLane School District Board of Education announces that they are seeking applications from any district resident to fill an anticipated vacant seat of the Board. The term of the appointment will be until December, 2013.
Residents of the district, 18 years of age or older, that have been a resident of the General McLane School District for at least one year are eligible for consideration.
Applications for the position are available at the Office of the Board Secretary, Dr. Therese T. Walter Education Center, 11771 Edinboro Road, Edinboro, PA 16412, by calling Marissa Rosenbaum at 273-1033 ext. 5901 daily from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., or online at www.generalmclane.org. The deadline for receipt of applications is Thursday, August 30 at 3:00 p.m. Applications received after that date and time will not be considered.
Depending upon the number of applications received, it may be necessary for the Board to select a limited number of candidates for interviews. Interviews will be conducted by the Board on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, and the appointment will be made at the Board Meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012.
