Edinboro, Bloomin’ Purple!

The “Beautification” committee with the Edinboro Growth Initiative after discussion, decided to start an initiative to help build community spirit.

It is not a mandate, only a suggestion, and they are hoping there will be many that will become part of it. Many businesses and homeowner’s already put in flower gardens and they applaud each and every effort.

To bring them all together, the committee is suggesting making Edinboro, Bloomin’ Purple! They have contacted the garden clubs that presently have areas downtown that they annually tend and are hoping they will also add some purple annuals among the perennials.

The Oasis Church on Capp Road is putting in the garden around the Edinboro sign and Julie Marchese from Scotland Yards is hoping to add a purple garden somewhere along 6N.

They are hoping everyone will get the spirit and bloom purple too.
