Dr. Jason Rourke B.S, D.C is a licensed Chiropractor specializing in Whole Food Nutrition and Graston Therapy, a form of massage therapy which incorporates instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and muscular restrictions that affect normal, pain free function of muscular tissue.
Dr. Rourke currently practices Chiropractic in Erie and Edinboro, Pennsylvania and is an instructor of Advanced Mammalian Anatomy at Penn State Behrend. Dr. Rourke studied Pre-Medicine at Penn State Behrend earning a Bachelor’s of Science then continued his education at New York Chiropractic College earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic. During his education at New York Chiropractic college, Dr. Rourke became certified in Graston Therapy and Nutritional Education which he incorporates in his daily practice of Chiropractic.
Dr. Rourke focuses his care on low and moderate force diversified techniques for athletes and families, including children and pregnant mothers. He provides nutritional counseling to detect nutritional deficiencies and underlying nutritive stress factors. Dr. Rourke is dedicated to providing complimentary community education on health and wellness topics such as nutrition, weight loss, raising healthy children, natural female hormone balance along with stress and pain management.
