Edinboro Kiwanis Holds Annual Duck Race

Connor says: Buy your tickets now…. purchasing more than one increases your chances of winning!

As has become tradition, each year on the 4th of July, the Kiwanis Club of Edinboro holds its annual DUCK RACE.

Thousands of plastic ducks are numbered and placed in the creek. They “swim” downstream where they are captured one by one. Prizes are awarded to the first 200-plus people whose ducks cross the finish line.

Duck tickets are sold by Edinboro Kiwanis members as well as the General McLane Key Club and Marching Band, Hermitage House Key Club, and Fort LeBoeuf Marching Band. These funds help the students with their projects throughout the year.

Tickets are available around town at these area businesses: Trans 58, Rebich Investments, MacMorgans, Bud’s Barbershop, Erin’s Hair Garage, Green-eyed Lady, Brink Ink, and Chances. They can also be purchased online at www.edinborokiwanis.org

Proceeds from the race are used to support programs for children.
