Jamie Seeman, of Edinboro, an employee of Lifetouch Photography was recently honored as runner up in the company’s Portrait Excellence Award competition.

Each photographer submitted 25 randomly selected portraits. Images are scored based on Lifetouch’s eight elements of photography. Each element is worth one point. When reviewing an image, each element must be met to receive a point for it.

Elements reviewed were: posture, head position/facial view, grooming, lighting, eye direction, expression, image framing, and technical, which would include camera heights and settings.

It’s a big deal for all of us that Jamie placed,” said Nadia Mosa, Regional Photography Trainer with Lifetouch, “Please know what a huge honor it is. Jamie competed against 4,000 other photographers in the country.

Jamie is a graduate of General Mclane High School, and has a Fine Arts – Photography degree from Edinboro University.
