General McLane High School Yearbook Wins National Recognition

Edinboro, PA (March 12, 2018) – For the ninth consecutive year, the staff of GM’s yearbook, The Imperator, has won a national award from the American Scholastic Press Association.

The 2016-2017 General McLane High School yearbook, The Imperator: Just Keep Swimming, has received national recognition with a first place award from the American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA) annual yearbook competition. The award reflects the staff’s developing talent in the fields of journalism, theme and page design.
General McLane High School teacher Diane Bremner serves as the advisor to this student group.

This marks the ninth consecutive year that General McLane High School’s publication has received an ASPA award. Imperator placed first in 2014 2013, 2012 and 2009 and placed second in 2016, 2015, 2011 and 2010.
