The 2015-2016 General McLane High School yearbook, The Imperator: We Are, has received national recognition with a second place award from the American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA) annual yearbook competition. The award reflects the staff’s developing talent in the fields of journalism, theme and page design.
“This award is especially meaningful to the staff because it validates all of the hard work that the students complete,” says GMHS Yearbook advisor Diane Bremner. “Additionally, we receive valuable objective feedback so that we can continue to improve our publication.”
This marks the eighth consecutive year that General McLane High School’s publication has received an ASPA award. Imperator placed first in 2014 2013, 2012 and 2009 and placed second in 2015, 2011 and 2010.
Congratulations to the entire yearbook staff on the terrific accomplishments!
