Born in St. Mary’s, PA on November 15, 1950, Kathleen was the daughter of Vivian and John Crum. She graduated from Cameron County High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University. Her social work career spanned many years at the Erie County Office of Children and Youth, the Erie County Area Agency on Aging, and Pleasant Ridge Manor.
Family was her joy, from pinochle at home with toddlers on her lap, to vacation traditions in North Carolina’s Outer Banks and Michigan’s Au Sable River. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, volunteering for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, family feasts, novels, and wry humor – which lives on in her children.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Crum and her brother, John Sanderson.
