Meadville, PA – July 12, 2018 Meadville Area Recreation Complex (MARC) announces Kelsi Breth as the new Freestyle Skating Coordinator and Saturday’s Lead instructor for Learn to skate.

We are so excited to have expertise and her knowledge will be an asset to freestyle skating and to kids of Meadville. Kelsi is a Gold Medalist and a professional member in good standing of the Professional Skaters Association, Ice Sports Industry and United States Figure Skating. Under the PSA, she has reached the Master level in Sports Science and Medicine and is also certified in coaching hockey skating. Additionally, she is a gold-level judge under ISI and is certified compliant with continuing education requirements under USFS. Kelsi was skating director of the now-defunct Meadville Figure Skating Club from 2000-2004. She is very excited to partner with the MARC and bring her leadership and enthusiasm to the Meadville skating scene once again.

She has been educated at Allegheny College, Edinboro University, Fashion Institute of Technology, and American Military University. Most recently, she earned a Master’s in Sports Management with a concentration in Administration (AMU ’17).

As far as professional goals, Kelsi would like to bring back a figure skating club for the area, have a grand turnout for the MARC’s ice skating programs in the fall, and encourage new levels of talent & enjoyment.
