A quick tour around Walker Brothers Chevrolet in Edinboro will find all the pieces of the puzzle coming together. After almost a year and a half the reconstruction from a roof cave-in following a February snowstorm is coming to an end.
Craig Walker said he hopes everything is done and they can have a grand re-opening in September.
The new building already has lifts installed, including an addition of a truck lift. Also installed is a new alignment rack and lube station.
The incoming service area has been expanded and will have room for more inside showroom alongside the service writers desks and cashier station.
New energy efficient lighting has been installed that makes the service area as bright as outdoors. Oil from the lube station will be recycled and used to heat the service area in the newly installed furnace system. The addition is also extremely well insulated and should reduce energy consumption.
The outside of the store is also getting a face lift and a new color scheme and new blacktop will also expand the outdoor display area on the south side of the building.
