Ronald Joseph Yusavage of Cambridge Springs died February 25, 2022 at his home, surrounded by family. He was born in Cambridge Springs on July 24, 1944, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Jablonovsky) Yusavage.
Ron was a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and attended Allegheny Technical Institute, Inc. in Pittsburgh. He then entered the military. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam era, was a sharpshooter and earned the National Defense Service Medal. Once he returned home, he traveled to Philadelphia for schooling for work. He met his bride, Patricia at this time. They were married 53 years. He was employed by PPG Industries for 34 years and was able to travel overseas. Ron enjoyed retirement and keeping busy with his hobbies. He loved being outdoors, fishing, cooking, gardening, computer programming, traveling, making wine, and bird watching with Pat. Their home shows his woodworking craftsmanship. Recently, he reconnected with Army buddies and enjoyed a few yearly trips with them and catching up.
Ron belonged to American Legion Post 205, Saegertown and attended Our Lady of the Lake Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Patricia Yusavage; daughter, Bridget (Brian) Young of Edinboro, PA; grandchildren, Sarah Adams, Hannah Young, Cody Young; sister, Josie Ann Osiecki of Cambridge Springs, PA; cousin, Diane Polensky; friend, Sherry Hopkins; and many nieces and nephews in Philly who he loved dearly and looked forward to their visits.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Burial will be at Venango Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Townville Lions Club c/o Lion Jim Henry, 18993 Greytown Road, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.
