February 18, 1955 ~ February 8, 2022 (age 66)

Michele L. Thayer, 66 of Edinboro, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022 with family by her side.  She was born in Erie, PA on February 18, 1955, the daughter of David and Charlotte Therasse.

Shelly was a licensed beautician through JH Thompson Academy. She also worked through Laborers Local 603.  She attended Erie Clown College and worked as Rowdy Rosie with the Erie clowns. Last, but not least, she was an accomplished painter and LOVED creating various types of art.

She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Haynes.

In addition to her parents, Shelly is survived by her fiancé, Michael Bovaird; two daughters, Heidi Smith (significant other, Chris) of Edinboro and Amellia (John) Mosconi of Cambridge Springs; two sisters, Susan Ford and Nicole (David) McCool, both of Edinboro; seven grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews

No services will be held at this time.
