The Photographic Arts Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania (PASNWPA) is very excited to present an exhibit of nature and wildlife, titled “It’s Wild Out There!” The exhibit will be hosted by the Raymond M. Blasco Memorial Library, the main branch of the Erie County Public Library System, from March 4 through March 31, 2023. The official opening reception is Saturday, March 11 from 1-3 pm. The photographic artworks displayed include wildlife, birds, insects, and everything nature from near and far. The exhibit will be displayed in a glass enclosed case in the hallway leading to the Children’s Library and is sure to attract the attention of the children and their parents and all visitors as they walk through the hallways!
The PASNWPA Photographic Exhibit coincides with an exhibit by the Regional Science Consortium, which will feature the “Explore a Wetland!” exhibit highlighting the research and restoration being performed right on the shores of Presque Isle Bay and Lake Erie. The display will feature the flora and fauna of local wetlands and create awareness of the important functions wetlands provide to our community. The exhibit will be displayed in the glass enclosed case in the hallway leading to the second floor Heritage Room. Both of these exhibits can be viewed at any time during the library’s regular hours, which are listed on Facebook and on the Erie County Public Library website. Admission is always free of charge, with free parking in an adjacent parking lot.
