The Crary Art Gallery, an art museum located in downtown Warren, PA, is dedicated to promoting the fine arts and has been bringing noteworthy art exhibitions to the community since 1977. The Photographic Arts Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania (PASNWPA) is very pleased to present a juried exhibit, “The World as We See It,” at the Crary Gallery by its members from December 3, 2022 through January 15, 2023. The official opening reception is Saturday, December 3, from 3 – 6 pm. The photographic artworks range from panoramic landscapes to richly toned nature and wildlife images, as well as monochrome and macro photography and striking impressionistic and abstract photographs.
The show will feature the artwork of many of Erie’s well-known photographers listed below. The organizers encourage the public to attend: “Join us at the opening reception for light refreshments as you browse the artwork of these talented photographers, many of whom will be in attendance to discuss how they achieve their visions for their photography.” The exhibit continues through January 15, 2023 and can be seen during its regular gallery hours. The museum is closed for the holidays, from December 19 to January 5.
Hours are posted on Facebook and at craryartgallery.org. Visitors can also email the Crary to make an appointment to see the exhibition most anytime. Admission is always free of charge, with free street parking.
